HPV Talk for Students and Young People

Dear colleagues,

For many years, we have been running the public health and educational campaign „Budi mRAK,“ which focuses on HPV prevention and vaccination. Unfortunately, HPV causes as many as six types of cancer, but fortunately, there is a remedy. It's a vaccine that is free and available to all young people in Croatia until they turn 25.

You can find more information about the HPV virus at the link: https://youtu.be/Mza9thTKob8

For the third year in a row, we have managed to provide free vaccinations for young people on our campus. So, without a referral, just by booking through the Terminko app, young people can sign up for the HPV vaccine, get their appointment, come in, and get vaccinated. The vaccine is administered in three doses, and you will be notified via appointment when it's time for the next dose. The success of the clinic is shown by the fact that last year, a full 300 students from our university were vaccinated!

Vaccinations will be organized once a month, with the first dose on October 17, 2024, at the Student Assembly of Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, 8b Cara Hadriana Street, 31000 Osijek. You can schedule your appointment via the link:
