EFOS and Poznan Institute of Technology (Poznan, Poland) are 4.12.2023. signed an agreement on research, implementation and educational cooperation. The agreement envisages joint activities in the field of artificial intelligence, logistics and supply chain, industrial technology, smart cities and social innovation, sustainable transport, electrical engineering and computer science. Poznan Institute of Technology is a scientific research and project application public institute that employs 700 employees, and is an integral part of the Łukasiewicz Research Network, one of the largest scientific networks in Europe that gathers 22 scientific institutes with over 7,000 employees and more than 400 laboratories.
In early 2024, based on the signed Agreement, the first scientific and educational scholarships or internships will begin at both institutions – both for employees and students. It will also open up numerous opportunities for joint work on the application and implementation of scientific and professional projects based on the resources that both institutions possess. Of particular note here are technological and know-how resources owned by the Poznan Institute of Technology, and methodological and educational resources owned by EFOS. The exchange of experiences is expected to increase scientific and project productivity. The first group of students and professors from EFOS to visit the Poznan Institute of Technology will be students of the graduate study Supply Chain Management in April 2024.
