  1. one employee for a teaching position as a lecturer in the scientific field of Social Sciences, scientific field of Kinesiology for an indefinite period of time, full-time

All candidates for the Competition must meet the general conditions prescribed by the Labor Act (Official Gazette, No. 93/14, 127/17, 98/19, 151/22 and 64/23).

Contest candidates in addition to the conditions prescribed in Article 39, paragraphs 1 and 4, and Article 119, paragraph 6 of the Higher Education and Scientific Activity Act (Official Gazette, No. 119/22), they are also obliged to meet the conditions prescribed in Article 123, paragraphs 1 and 3, and Article 200 of the Statute of the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, Article 45 of the Statute of the Faculty of Economics in Osijek, and Articles 9 and 36 of the Ordinance on the implementation of the election/re-election procedure for scientific-teaching, artistic-teaching, teaching, associate and professional positions at the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, the Ordinance on the conditions for election to scientific titles (Official Gazette, No. 28/17, 72/19, 21/21 and 111/22), the Decision of the Rectors' Conference on the necessary conditions for the assessment of teaching and professional activities in the procedure for election to teaching titles ("Official Gazette" No. 13/12 and 120/21) and the Decision of the Rectors' Conference on amending and supplementing the Decision on the necessary conditions for the assessment of teaching and professional activities in the procedure for appointment to teaching positions ("Official Gazette" No. 120/21) and the Decision of the Rectors' Conference on the form and manner of implementing the introductory lecture for appointment to scientific-teaching positions, artistic-teaching positions and teaching positions ("Official Gazette" No. 129/05).

Candidates for the competition submit an application for the Competition with mandatory attached documentation according to the prescribed application form - Form No. 3 – for selection to a teaching position which was published on the website of the Faculty of Economics in Osijek: https://www.efos.unios.hr/o-fakultetu/transparentost.

The Law on Higher Education and Scientific Activity, the Statute of the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek, the Statute of the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek, the Statute of the Faculty of Economics within the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek, the Regulations on the implementation of the procedure for election/re-election to scientific-teaching, artistic-teaching, teaching, associate and professional positions at the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek, the Regulations on the conditions for election to scientific titles, the Decision of the Rectors' Council on the necessary conditions for the assessment of teaching and professional activities in the procedure for election to teaching titles and the Decision of the Rectors' Council on the amendment and supplement to the Decision on the necessary conditions for the assessment of teaching and professional activities in the procedure for election to teaching titles and the Decision of the Rectors' Council on the form and manner of implementing the inaugural lecture for election to scientific-teaching titles, artistic-teaching and teaching titles are published on the website of the Faculty of Economics in Osijek https://www.efos.unios.hr/o-fakultetu/transparentost.

For candidates who are foreign citizens, it is necessary to submit proof of knowledge of the Croatian language in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (C2). The selected candidate is obliged to submit proof of recognition of a foreign higher education qualification before starting employment.

Persons of both sexes may apply for the competition under equal conditions. Only a person who meets the formal requirements of the competition and who has submitted a timely and complete application for the competition will be considered a candidate for the competition. A complete application is an application that contains all the information and attachments specified in the competition and is signed by hand. Late and incomplete applications will not be considered.

Candidates who, based on special regulations - the Act on Croatian Homeland War Veterans and Members of Their Families ("Official Gazette" no. 121/17, 98/19, 84/21 and 156/23), Article 48 of the Act on Civilian Victims of Homeland War ("Official Gazette" no. 84/21) and Article 48.f. of the Act on the Protection of Military and Civilian War Invalids (Official Gazette, No. 33/92, 57/92, 77/92, 27/93, 58/93, 02/94, 76/94, 108/95, 108/96, 82/01, 103/03, 148/13 and 98/19), Article 9 of the Act on Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities (Official Gazette, No. 157/13, 152/14, 39/18 and 32/20) call for the right to priority in employment, they are obliged to refer to this right in their application for the competition and to attach all evidence prescribed by special regulations for the exercise of this right. The aforementioned candidates shall have priority in employment compared to other applicants, only under equal conditions. For candidates who, in their application, invoke the right to employment priority under the Act on Croatian Veterans of Homeland War and Members of Their Families ("Official Gazette" No. 121/17, 98/19, 84/21 and 156/23) and the Act on Civilian Victims of the Homeland War ("Official Gazette" No. 84/21), the list of evidence required to exercise this right is available at the link of the Ministry of Croatian Veterans: https://branitelji.gov.hr/zaposljavanje-843/843.

Candidates who invoke the right to priority in employment pursuant to Article 9 of the Act on Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities ("Official Gazette" No. 157/13, 152/14, 39/18 and 32/20) are required to invoke this right in their application for the competition and to submit all evidence of meeting the required conditions, as well as proof of disability.

All candidates will be notified of the results of the competition no later than (15) days from the date of its completion. The Faculty of Economics, part of the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, reserves the right to notify all registered candidates via e-mail.

By applying for the competition, each candidate gives consent to all their personal data contained in the competition documentation being collected and processed for the purpose of implementing the competition in accordance with the regulations governing the protection of personal data, in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation). Consent form was published along with the competition on the website of the Faculty of Economics in Osijek https://www.efos.unios.hr/o-fakultetu/transparentost. Without a duly completed and signed Consent forms with the application for the competition, the application will be considered incomplete and will be rejected.

Applications for the competition with evidence of meeting the competition requirements are submitted in electronic form to the address: office@efos.hr with the indication: „"Application for the position of lecturer"“ within thirty (30) days from the date of publication of the tender.
