The aim of the course is to expand students' knowledge in the field of securities portfolio management, i.e. financial asset management in terms of optimal selection of securities and optimal allocation of funds. Students will thereby acquire the knowledge necessary for work in pension and investment funds, portfolio management in financial institutions, and for managing individual investments.

After completing the course, the student will be able to:

2. argue an opinion on the applicability of capital asset pricing models in emerging markets,

4. evaluate different investment strategies in securities and draw a conclusion about the optimal investment strategy.
