The course enables students to understand various methods for solving complex business problems. Each method is explained in the context of a real business problem. Emphasis is placed on interpreting and applying the results. Students learn how to use computer programs.
1. Introduction and motivation for applying multicriteria analysis in business decision-making.
2. Multicriteria decision-making. Problems of multicriteria decision-making; objectives, criteria, criterion weights.
3. Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP method).
4. Methods based on a complex device relationship.
After completing the course, the student will be able to:
1. Define the basic concepts related to multicriteria analysis
2. Explain the decision-making problem-solving process.
3. Independently develop a multi-criteria decision-making model for a business problem.
4. Use computer tools when solving a business problem.
5. Evaluate the results of the developed multi-criteria decision-making model for the business problem.
