Goal

The goal of this course is to deliver the basic concepts of visual data analytics for the purpose of data management using the most advanced visualization tools (e.g., Tableau). Throughout the course, students will become familiar with techniques for creating effective visualizations based on the principles of graphic design, visual art, and cognitive science. They will also learn how to prepare data for analysis, design dashboards, and select the correct method for data visualization and management.
