The Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Authority (hereinafter: Hanfa) is awarding scholarships for the 2025/2026 academic year and invites students of undergraduate, graduate, and integrated undergraduate and graduate studies. economics, law, mathematics, and information technology by submitting a completed electronic form (hereinafter: Online application).
Scholarships for selected scholars will amount to 600,00 EUR net per month.
Application requirements:
- Enrolled in full-time study and holding full-time student status at a higher education institution in the Republic of Croatia.
- Enrolled in at least the third year of an undergraduate or a combined bachelor's and master's program, or enrolled in a master's degree program.
- enrolled in a program of economics, law, mathematics, or information technology that awards at least 300 ECTS credits upon completion (undergraduate and graduate studies, or an integrated undergraduate and graduate program)
- Upon completion of each academic year, all exams from previous years of study, excluding the current year, must be passed.
- Active knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written.
- that the student has not exceeded the minimum time limit for completing their studies
- that the student is not on a leave of absence
- that the student does not receive a scholarship or any other form of support related to their studies
- Croatian citizenship.
Required documents:

- Confirmation from the faculty or higher education institution where the student is enrolled, stating the type of study and the name of the academic program, the date of initial enrollment, the date of enrollment for the current academic year, the status, and any obligations (e.g., leave of absence, etc.).
- Transcript of records for the entire course of study, indicating the GPA and the total number of ECTS credits earned since first enrollment, as well as the total number of ECTS credits earned in the previous academic year, certified by the faculty or higher education institution to which the student is enrolled.

- Other documentation: certificates of awards, participation in student activities, competitions, or conference presentations; written, presented, or published papers (seminar papers, final projects, professional papers, etc.); letters of recommendation; and other materials.
- A student's self-attested statement that they are not receiving a scholarship or any other form of support for their studies.
The specified documents are submitted in scanned or digital form when completing the online application. During the selection process, students are required to provide the original copies of the requested documentation upon request.
Hanfa reserves the right not to consider applications with incomplete documentation.
Selection criteria:
- Average Grade Height
- participation in student activities (student associations, competitions, organization of student activities, etc.)
- written, presented, or published works (seminar papers, final papers, professional papers, etc.)
- Assessment of motivation and interest through an interview for a potential job at Hanfa after graduation.
Scholarship Recipients' Obligations:
- Regular studying and taking exams
- Semester-by-semester delivery of the college or university's transcript of completed courses, indicating the grade point average for each semester.
- Completing a three-week student internship in Hanfa.
- An obligation to be employed at Hanfa for a total period equal to the number of years of the scholarship, plus one additional year in the event that Hanfa demonstrates a business need.
Hemp Obligations:
- Scholarship payment in the net amount of 600,00 EUR per month, starting from the beginning of the award in the 2025/2026 academic year until the completion of studies, in accordance with the signed scholarship agreement.
- Scholarship payment for the current month is due no later than the 15th of the month.

Only those students who meet the formal requirements of the competition and who, according to the selection criteria, most closely match the specified requirements will be invited to the interview.
After the competitive selection process is completed, a decision will be made to award scholarships to individual students. Before the scholarships are disbursed, a contract will be signed between the selected students as scholarship recipients on one hand and Hanfe as the scholarship provider on the other, establishing their mutual rights and obligations.
Hanfa reserves the right to withdraw the scholarship awards if it does not receive adequate student applications.
