Dear and esteemed students,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We invite you to respond to this year's free HPV vaccination for all young people up to the age of 25!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The HPV vaccination point has been organized for many years by the medical student association of the Osijek Faculty of Medicine (CroMSIC) and medical experts from the Osijek-Baranja County Public Health Institute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most people infected with HPV have no symptoms, but they can still transmit the virus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Permanent HPV infection leads to premalignant changes, which if left untreated can lead to cancer. HPV is the cause of 6 types of cancer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Croatia, almost every day, one woman develops cervical cancer, and every third day, one woman dies from its consequences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Up to the age of 25, it is possible to receive a free vaccine against all high-risk types of HPV in Croatia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The vaccine is recommended for both girls and boys. It is completely safe because the vaccine contains virus-like particles that do not contain viral DNA and cannot infect cells, reproduce, or cause disease.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is necessary to get vaccinated with three doses, and the first dose starts on November 13, 2025 at the address:<\/strong>
