Over the years, the RED Conference has become an important platform for bridging the gap between academic research and practical solutions to the pressing challenges facing our regions and societies. Over the years, the conference has fostered dialogue and contributed to the development of policies and practices that foster sustainable development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Introductory lecture entitled <strong><em>Redefining Regional Prosperity: Digital Transformation and the New Business Models<\/em><\/strong> will hold <strong>Prof. Dr. sc Marina Dabi\u0107<\/strong> from the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb, and in the panel titled <strong><em>The future of scientific conferences: Challenges, Problems,<\/em><\/strong> <strong><em>Opportunities<\/em><\/strong> will participate: <strong>prof. Ph.D. Bahrija Umihani\u0107<\/strong>, Faculty of Economics in Tuzla, <strong>Prof. Dr. Nik\u0161a Alfirevi\u0107<\/strong>, Faculty of Economics in Split, <strong>Prof. Davor Dujak, PhD<\/strong>, Faculty of Economics in Osijek and <strong>Prof. Dr. Sc. Anamarija Deli\u0107,<\/strong>&nbsp; Faculty of Economics in Osijek. The panel moderator will be <strong>Prof. Dr. Sc. Sun\u010dica Oberman Peterka.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year&#039;s proceedings of the RED 2025 conference include 31 papers by researchers from Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Portugal, Slovenia, Serbia, Spain and Turkey. The papers address key issues such as the effectiveness of healthcare, regional economic disparities, the impact of macroeconomic variables on well-being, digitalization and the rural-urban divide, and the changing landscape of local governance.
