Event Management Competition (EMC) is a unique project organized by the Croatian Student Association (HSA). During the competition, students have the opportunity to showcase their creative ideas and organizational skills, gain new knowledge in event management <\/strong>through an educational workshop and collaborate with professionals from the event management industry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The competition is open to all students and no prior knowledge or experience is required, just proactivity, motivation and interest in event management. The best teams will win cash prizes and professional internships <\/strong>in event organization. An invaluable network of acquaintances is formed by partner agencies and project sponsors who make up the expert jury in the final.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aim of the project is to provide students with the opportunity to education, professional development, career growth and networking<\/strong>. We want students who are interested in event management to use EMC as a first step in an industry that is becoming bigger and more important in today's society, and that through EMC students gain knowledge and experience in event management through practical examples and tasks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The competition consists of 3 rounds<\/strong>, and before the first round, the competitors will have an educational workshop<\/strong>.The workshop will be held at Wespa Spaces Zagreb, and the finals will be held at HUB385. Applications are open until March 5, 2025!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The schedule is as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8. 3. - workshop (live, at least one team member must attend the workshop)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

15. 3. - first round (online) - general knowledge questions about event management, 22. 3. - second round (online) - solving descriptive questions<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. 4. - final (live) - solving the task of the expert jury (organizing the event)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
