For the sixth consecutive year, the team Accounting and Finance<\/strong> associations eStudent<\/strong><\/a> organizes a project called Accounting Battle<\/strong> - the largest student competition in accounting<\/strong> in Croatia. This year's Applications for students run from February 26 to March 10.<\/strong>, and can apply All interested students and studentesses<\/strong> who want to show off their accounting skills. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Interested students will have the opportunity to learn all the details about the competition at Panel lecture<\/strong> which will be held as part of openings<\/strong> of this year's Accounting Battle competition. It will be held March 7th<\/strong> on 5 PM<\/strong> on online edition <\/strong>on the next links<\/strong><\/a>. All project partners will participate in the panel and will be available to answer any questions and clarify any doubts students may have.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year's Accounting Battle<\/strong> It differs somewhat from previous editions and will thus unfold in two rounds<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first round of the competition will be held this year as well. online <\/strong>and that March 12 <\/strong>on 6 PM<\/strong>, and it will be designed so that the contestants will solve 10 questions<\/strong> and 1 complete computational problem<\/strong> which were compiled by the project's collaborators, professors from Faculty of Economics, University of Zagreb<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The five most successful<\/strong> The male and female contestants from each category will advance to the second, or final, round of the competition. Their task will then be Solving one of the three offered <\/strong>cheesemaker<\/strong><\/em> who came up with Premium partners<\/strong> of the project. After they solve the task, the contestants will have 15-minute interviews<\/strong> with representatives of the companies whose Premium partners case<\/em> solved. The final round, or the project's conclusion, will be held as early as March 15th <\/strong>on to the Zagreb Innovation Center<\/strong> (ZICER). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is important to note that students will be able to choose a category when registering for the competition, and the number of spots for each category will be limited. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After conducting the interviews, each Premium partner will decide on the winner or winners of their category who will win cash prize<\/strong> from 700 EUR<\/strong> as well as second-place<\/strong> and third-place<\/strong> to the contestants who win 200 and 100 EUR, respectively<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year's Premium partners are Deloitte d.o.o.<\/strong>, Swim<\/strong> and Lidl <\/strong>which is also a strategic partner of the Association. The project's regular partners are companies PwC Croatia<\/strong> and Mazars<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each Premium Partner will represent one of the areas of accounting. Thus, Tax accounting<\/strong> to represent Deloitte d.o.o., financial accounting<\/strong> PLIVA, while for managerial accounting<\/strong> to be a Lidl representative. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This competition is also an excellent opportunity for contestants to showcase their knowledge and skills to potential employers and thus gain an opportunity for Completion of internship<\/strong> or even for employment<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Besides the aforementioned benefit<\/strong> which competition brings cash prizes<\/strong> for the top-placing male and female competitors in each category<\/strong>, participating in this competition brings students a commendable Certificate of Participation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
