The purpose of LUMEN Business is to foster cooperation between students and companies. During the competition, student teams must use their acquired knowledge and solve tasks from business cases set by companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Report&nbsp;<\/strong>you can&nbsp;<strong>until January 24th<\/strong>&nbsp;through&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/form.jotform.com\/233602679749065\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>forms<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The contestants have three months to solve the business case. During this time, the following will be organized:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>consultations with professors<\/strong>,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>consultations with the company<\/strong>&nbsp;whose business case each team solves and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>workshop<\/strong>&nbsp;run by one of the partner companies, and is open to all competitors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>They expect teams whose solutions are innovative and the most creative&nbsp;<strong>valuable cash prizes<\/strong>. Each partner company secured prizes for the three best solutions for their business case. First place wins 1,350 euros, second 800 euros, and third 550 euros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Partner companies<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year&#039;s LUMEN Business competition is being held in collaboration with&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbz.hr\/gradjani\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Privredna Banka Zagreb<\/strong><\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/hr.coca-colahellenic.com\/hr\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Coca-Cola HBC Croatia<\/strong><\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.henkel.hr\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Henkel<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.loreal.com\/hr-hr\/adria-balkan\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>L&#039;Or\u00e9al<\/strong><\/a>. These are companies that have offered business cases, and the contestants choose one to solve. In addition to the above, the competition partners are also&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mazars.hr\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Mazars<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mazars.hr\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Konzum plus until o<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>PBZ case<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How to start an independent business and establish a successful relationship with a bank?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Business case category:&nbsp;<strong>entrepreneurship<\/strong>,<strong>&nbsp;finances<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>banking<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Entrepreneurship is an increasingly common topic when discussing economic development. Innovative individuals who are willing to take risks to realize their business ideas are an indispensable part of social progress.&nbsp;<strong>Main task<\/strong>&nbsp;In this case, the aim is to establish a business activity according to the chosen legal form of the business entity. This includes: developing a strategy, defining an entrepreneurial niche with a product or service that is intended to be offered to the market, presenting the business idea to a commercial bank for a cooperation agreement, and conducting market research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>L&#039;Or\u00e9al case<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Armani Beauty Acqua di Gi\u00f2 \u2013 Into the Unknown<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Business case category:&nbsp;<strong>marketing<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Goal<\/strong>&nbsp;The aim of this study is to develop a strategy for the launch of a new men&#039;s fragrance, Armani Acqua di Gi\u00f2. Initially, market research, competition analysis, potential partners and target group selection should be carried out. Based on the research, a final activation plan is prepared, which should include a 360 communication strategy. This is followed by a financial plan, local client activation and a method for activating the fragrance line with the possibility of replenishment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Coca-Cola bottles<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How to attract new consumers from other non-alcoholic beverage categories to the product Coca-Cola Zero sugar Zero caffeine?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Business case category:&nbsp;<strong>soft drink marketing<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a solution to this case, the teams should offer a proposal for marketing activities for 2024 for the new product, Coca-Cola Zero sugar Zero caffeine.&nbsp;<strong>Goal<\/strong>&nbsp;is to find a way to use the advantages of the product in the campaign, namely convenience for consumption at any time of the day while maintaining the excellent taste of Coca-Cola. The solution must include a marketing plan and cost estimate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Henkel case<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Schauma, Gliss &amp; Syoss Strategy 2024.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Business case category:&nbsp;<strong>marketing<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Henkel is present on the market with various products. In the business case, the focus is on three of their hair care brands \u2013 Schauma, Gliss and Syoss.&nbsp;<strong>Task<\/strong>&nbsp;is to design a strategy for the mentioned brands that will improve the image of the brand, increase penetration and further strengthen the market position. Case solving consists of two steps. First, you need to do market research, and then prepare a strategy proposal according to the 4P principle. This includes specific proposals for products, price, point of sale and promotion that should be in focus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Finale<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The competitors will submit their business case solutions by the end of&nbsp;<strong>April<\/strong>. Then, companies choose&nbsp;<strong>five finalists<\/strong>.
