Course of study: BUSINESS INFORMATICS
Holder: J.J. STROSSMAYER UNIVERSITY
Carried out by: FACULTY OF ECONOMICS IN OSIJEK
Duration: 2 years (4 semesters)
Admission requirements: Applicants need to pass an admissions test for one of Croatian Faculties of Economics. Business Informatics course of study can be selected provided the courses of Information Resources Management and Electronic Business are chosen in the 4th semester. Participants are required to have passed the Informatics course from the 1st semester.
Graduate studies of Business Informatics is organized over the course of four semesters where students deepen and broaden their skills and knowledge of business information systems, new and existing information and communication technologies, and are acquainted with the latest tools and methods for developing business software applications. Their knowledge of information technologies utilization in specific business and public sector processes and operations is also being extended. The syllabuses provide the students with competencies for managing complex information systems, designing and managing computer networks, developing management information systems based on new business intelligence information and implementation of e-Business practices.
The academic degree received on completing the Business Informatics graduate studies (VII/I education level) is Master of Economics in the area Business Informatics.
