Borrowing

In order to borrow Library materials, users must present their library ID card.

The following materials may not be taken outside the Library premises: reference books, dissertations and master’s theses, journals, the last and only copy of the title, protected materials and those located in the exhibition hall of the library.

Access & Borrowing Policies

a) students and faculty members – a maximum of 3 books,

b) teaching staff of the Faculty – a maximum of 50 books,

c) non-teaching staff of the Faculty – a maximum of 10 books.

The loan period is defined by the type of user, as follows:

a) students and faculty members – a maximum of 14 days, with the possibility of extension for 14 days

b) teaching staff of the Faculty – indefinite,

c) non-teaching staff of the Faculty – a maximum of one year.

External users can borrow books under the same conditions as students and faculty if they are registered users of the Library but they are required to present a personal identification document and leave it as a deposit.

Students of the Faculty are required to return all borrowed materials prior to enrollment into the successive year of study.

The students of the Faculty cannot be issued a diploma until all library debts are cleared.

In case of loss or damage to a library item,  the user is obliged to replace it with a copy identical to the lost or damaged item, and in case of inability (or inexpediency) of replacing it a user is obliged to pay the replacement value of the publication.
