Invitation for the election of an employee
JOSIP JURAJ STROSSMAYER UNIVERSITY OF OSIJEK
FACULTY OF ECONOMICS IN OSIJEK
for the election of
one (1) male/female employee to the type I employment position in the scientific-teaching title and the scientific-teaching employment position of associate professor in the scientific area of Social Sciences, scientific field of Economics, scientific branch Organisation and Management for an indefinite period of time, in full time.
All applicants must meet the general conditions prescribed by the Labour Act (“Official Gazette” No. 93/14 and 127/17).
Applicants to the tender must meet the general conditions prescribed by Articles 93 and 95 of the Act on Scientific Activity and Higher Education (“Official Gazette” No. 123/03, 198/03, 105/04, 174/04, 2/07 – Decision of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Croatia, 46/07, 63/11, 94/13, 139/13, 101/14, 60/15 – Decision of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Croatia and 131/17) and the conditions prescribed by the Decision of the Croatian Rectors’ Conference on the necessary conditions for evaluation of teaching and professional activity in the procedure of election to scientific-teaching titles and Regulations on the implementation of the procedure of election/re-election to titles and appropriate employment positions of the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek. In addition to the application to the tender, applicants are obliged to enclose documentation according to Form No. 2 – Application to the invitation for the election to the scientific-teaching / artistic-teaching title and appropriate employment position.
Form No. 2 and Regulations on the implementation of the procedure of election/re-election to titles and appropriate employment positions of the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek are published on the webpage of the Faculty of Economics in Osijek, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek www.efos.unios.hr.
Documents accompanying the application are submitted in two copies, except for publications (of which 1 is the original) and in electronic form on CD in the PDF format. Applicants who are foreign nationals need to submit proof of fluency in Croatian language, in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (C2).
A person who has the right of priority under a special law shall invoke this right in their application, enclose documents proving the status which grants them the right of priority, certificate of the Croatian Employment Service issued during the duration of this tender as proof of unemployment status, and evidence how employment with previous employer was terminated. Such an applicant to the tender has an advantage over other applicants only under equal conditions.

Applications to the tender with the required documents should be delivered within 30 days from the day of the posting to the address: Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, Faculty of Economics in Osijek, Trg Ljudevita Gaja 7, 31000 Osijek, Croatia. The face of the envelope must bear the notice “Za natječaj” (meaning: Application for a job position).
Applicants of both sexes can apply to the tender.
Untimely and incomplete application will not be taken into consideration.
All applicants will be notified of the results of the tender no later than 15 days from the date of its completion.
By applying for an employment position, applicants expressly agree that the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, Faculty of Economics in Osijek, as the head of personal data filling system may collect, use and further process data for the purpose of implementation of the tender procedure in accordance with the provisions of the Act on Personal Data protection (“Official Gazette” No. 106/12 – revised text).
